AJ Okrzesik Biography
AJ Okrzesik (Mega Spice) was born on November 23, 1989 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He grew up in Alsip, a suburb of Chicago.
AJ has loved polkas ever since he was a baby. While in fifth grade, he played trumpet. He chose trumpet because of his family's polka background. When AJ was 12, he began to listen to and love heavy-metal music. That is when he began playing the guitar. With FreezeDried AJ plays guitar, drums and trumpet on "Sweet Young Thing".
Other than FreezeDried, AJ has performed with Almost Evil with his Uncle Ed, and The Alex Mazza Extravaganza. He loves heavy-metal, polkas,drums, friend and comedy movies. One of AJ's favorite music memories is going to Ozzfest in 2004 and meeting Zakk Wylde.
AJ currently lives in Homer Glen with his parents, Tim and Annamarie and fellow FreezeDried member, Andrew. He works at Holy Family Nursing home as a receptionist.
